Job Title: Home Watch Technician (Seasonal)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Watch Technician to join our team for primarily the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. This role involves traveling between homes, conducting scheduled home inspections, documenting property conditions, and reporting any concerns or maintenance needs. 

The ideal candidate is responsible, observant, and comfortable working independently.  A great opportunity for those seeking supplemental income, flexible work, and an independent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine home watch inspections according to company standards
• Check for signs of damage, leaks, HVAC issues, pest activity, and security concerns
• Document findings through reports and photographs using company software
• Communicate with homeowners and managers regarding property status and any recommended actions
• Follow established routes and schedules efficiently
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing Northern Nest Services

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Owns a smart phone and is comfortable using mobile apps and technology for reporting
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs as needed
• Ability to climb a small ladder
• Technical aptitude 
• Experience in property management, home maintenance, or a related field is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide several references

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Seasonal position with flexible part-time hours.  The busiest time is in the winter. 
• Compensation: Starting at $20/hr plus mileage.  Rate is subject to change based on experience, subject to negotiation.
